Science Inquiry
We wondered if birds have a favourite colour?
We made 5 birdfeeders and painted them red, blue, green, white and yellow. We filled each one with a cup of bird seeds.
We made a hypothesis and thought that birds will eat mostly from the red feeder as they might think it is berries.
We spotted birds coming closer while Solana and Mr Bill hung the bird feeders in the tree.
After two days we made our observation and measured how much bird seeds were left in each bird feeder.
Our conclusion........the green bird feeder had the least seeds left. We think birds ate from the green bird feeder most because it is the same colour as the leaves.
