Sink or float?

Our school was gifted a 'canoe' from MOTAT that was built by teenagers between 13-16 years old and tested down the Wanganui River. It was made from empty plastic bottles. Can it really float? We tested it in our school pool. Mr Jackson was very brave to try it out.
