Mt. Atkinson walk

Today we walked up to Mt Atkinson as part of our Turangawaewae  concept. 

We looked at the view of our moana - the Manukau and Waitemata Harbours, and we stood on our maunga - Mt Atkinson. The view was fantastic!

We also identified the Kauri, Manuka, Ponga, Pohutukawa and Nikau trees. 

 

 

 

All these things make the place we stand so very special.
