Book Launch

Our class were very excited to be invited to the book launch at Titirangi Library on Friday. 'Tiberius the Titirangi Mouse has more adventures' is on the shelves now! The author, Patricia Ross told us how she first got the idea of writing the story about Tiberius 46 years ago.
She thought it would be time for Tiberius to have more adventures and has just launched the second book. Edith Diggle the illustrator told us how she did the pictures and that the new book's pictures are lightly coloured-in and that we have to look very carefully to find some of the creatures hidden in the illustrations.

This is a tile just outside the Titirangi Library on the footpath that refers to the bush mouse named Tiberius that first nibbled his way into Kiwi hearts in 1969.
